Coyoty eats D'Angelo's Surf & Turf and lobster bisque.


Steak & cheese sandwich, lobster roll, and lobster bisque. Take-out from D'Angelo's in West Hartford, CT.


The steak sandwich dipped in the bisque is decadent.

That looks way better than I imagine of the food at the highway rest plaza D'Angelo's stands. I think last time I was at one on the Mass Pike, they were offering a lobster roll for something like $15, and I decided that felt wrong for a fast-food sandwich shop. Was it worth it?

It could have been better. The lobster was rubbery and the bisque was foamy and grainy. It was good for dipping the steak sandwich, but by itself it wasn't so good. I ended up tossing part of the roll and the bisque. It cost me about $13 with a coupon for the soup.
