I rolled sushi for a little post-finals gathering at my house:

Those appear to be philly rolls, avacado/cucumber and some other rolls.

A whole platter of avacado rolls, because both vegetarians and non-vegs enjoy avacado rolls.

My friend made these tasty, tasty corn fritters.

dip
I made some guacamole, the salsa is from Trader Joe's, as are the corn chips, because everyone needs chips and dip when the heavy drinking starts.

those philly rolls look mighty tasty! Have you been to Crazy Sushi? They've got the best philly rolls.

No I haven't been there. I used to love philly rolls alot more than I do now, granted, I won't turn them down, but I used to always get them when out for sushi. Cream cheese makes everything tasty.

I find that the key is having sushi rice, not just regular short grain, and making sure the rice is cool enough, but not told before you roll.

I made even more today, because I'm on vacation. The combination of scallion and cream cheese was quite good. Like bagel toppings but wrapped up in convenient sushi form.
